Anshu Pal
Portrait of Anshu Pal

Architect-trained, product-made. Systems thinker. Hands-on operator.

I like the craft of turning messy inputs into a product system that feels obvious. The kind where you can predict what will happen, even when the data is incomplete and the workflow is dense.

01
Context
Architecture
Designed facade elements for residences. Worked on fire zoning for a 2,000-bed hospital. Trained to think in structure, constraints, and failure modes.
Craft & Making
Built installations for a music festival. Made illustrations for brands. Spent time in Auroville making mud bricks for an eco-house.
After Hours
Data visualization, the history of architecture, human moods and behavior, and rock in far too many sub-genres.

Working with me

I care about consistency, but I am not religious about it.

I write it down
Tradeoffs and what we are not building.
I keep scope clean
Messy scope becomes messy UI.
I plan for failure states
Missing data, permissions, latency, zero results.
I build with the team
Stay close to the build so the system holds up.
